#15 | Passage to the Isle of Skye

In this episode we sail Polaris from Canna around Neiss Point Lighthouse to Dunvegan on the north-western corner of the Isle of Skye. Whilst the seas are calm we admire an absolutely stunning sunrise over the Small Isles as we are challenged by a magnetic anomaly which plays havoc with our ship’s compass. We anchor for a couple of days just off magnificent Dunvegan Castle, the seat of the MacLeod Clan for 800 years and learn more about the fairy flag of the MacLeod Clan. Once again, we enjoy an exciting wildlife neighbourhood with seals, gannets and cormorants.
