“Abide with us, O Lord!“ - the most loved Slavic hymn of prayer-congregational singing(Eng subs)

This is the Slavic version of the English “Abide with me,“ & of course it’s in a minor key. As followers of Christ, we’re pretty much defenseless in this world. That’s why the hymn “Abide with me“ is an all-time favorite among Christians the world over. O, how we need the presence of God every moment of every day of our lives. During the exodus of Israel from slavery in Egypt Moses told God, “If Your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here at all!“ Exodus 33:15 I’ve always loved the fervent passion of this hymn of prayer: Abide with us, O Lord, & lead us in Thy way, on the path of wisdom, to the Source of all good. Pour out again Your blessings, abundantly Your grace, And teach us with our living to glorify You alone!
