Anneliese: The Exorcist Tapes, or Paranormal Entity 3: The Exorcist Tapes, is a 2011 American found footage horror film directed by Jude Gerard Prest. It is based on the real-life exorcism of Anneliese Michel, a young woman thought to have been possessed. The film was released direct-to-video on March 1, 2011. It is also a mockbuster of Paranormal Activity 3 and one of several films based on the exorcism of Anneliese Michel, I know that we did the right thing because I saw the sign of Christ in her hands. She was bearing stigmata and that was a sign from God that we should exorcise the demons. She died to save other lost souls, to atone for their sins. - Anna Michel (Anneliese’s mother, 2005 Jude Gerard Prest directed this “found footage“ film based on a true story of a famous exorcism case in Germany in the 1970s. The film was produced by The Asylum and distributed by Warner Home in German of course - with no subtitles
