Singing With Rasp: Light Rasp with the Push Technique

In this video I go over a different approach to adding rasp to your voice. In my previous lessons on vocal rasp I showed you a sound to imitate and then we transformed it into vocal rasp. For this lesson I aim to have you sing a song and ’imagine’ certain notes have rasp, and add emphasis to those words. The song I use as an example is ’The Projectionist’ by Braintoy. This technique won’t work for everyone, but it is another way that might get you to figure out the technique!
