Sonic Circuits / Short Cut (2019)

Accompanying program to the exhibition Sounds / Codes / Images: Audio Experimentation in Visual Arts 4 June – 13 October, 2019 GHMP Stone Bell House / Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace Prague Sonic Circuits comprised a series of music performances and sonic events that took place at the Stone Bell House, the Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace and in the public space. The program offered an opportunity to get familiar with the multifaceted work of Czech and foreign sound artists, some of which work with sound within the context of the visual arts, while others examine sound as a theme within space-time, or as mathematical, performative, environmental or social contexts. Some of the events are not included in the documentary, because artists didn’t want to videotape it, put it online or the organizers didn’t manage to arrange the video documentation.
