Drum Majors lead massed pipe bands salute to Chieftain opening 2024 Dufftown Highland Games Scotland

Drum Majors lead the massed Pipes and Drums salute to the Chieftain, guests and committee, after the official opening of the 2024 Dufftown Highland Games. These were held at Dufftown in Moray, Scotland, on Saturday 27th July 2024. The Chieftain is Alex Grant, seen here in red, together with his brothers, ex-Commando colleagues and guests, plus members of Dufftown Highland Games Committee. The massed Pipe Bands were led by leading Drum Major Nick Stables with Dufftown & District Pipe band, followed by Drum Majors Bill Barclay, Fraser Dyer, Neil Jamieson, Walter Davidson, Ronnie Rennie, Mike Munro and Mike Morgan. The bands taking part were Dufftown & District Pipe Band, Ballater & District Pipe Band, Towie Pipe Band, Aberlour Community & District Pipe Band, Forres and District Pipe Band, Huntly & District Pipe Band, Kintore Pipe Band, Strathisla Pipe band and Lonach Pipe Band.
