2025 ALL NEW YAMAHA R1 RACE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED!!

Yamaha is launching the R1 superbike, which will be used only on the track, in 2025. The four-cylinder machine will feature several technological upgrades that will boost its power output. The news comes after the Japanese company previously said that the R1 would no longer be homologated for use on European roads. The company attributed the move to changing consumer tastes and stricter Euro 5 emissions rules. The new machine will be available to European customers from April 2025. It will be available in two models: the entry-level R1 Race model and the highly advanced R1 GYTR variant. Pricing for each has not been revealed. Both bikes are focused on racing; Yamaha has opted to paint the superbike “primer black” rather than repaint the GYTR model. Three areas have seen the most significant technical changes. Aerodynamics, brakes and suspension are the three areas; but, to complement the improvements, there is also a new, more secure seat. Perhaps the most notable modification made to the new bike is the completely new fork setup. It now sits at the front with a KYB unit with a 43mm Kashima coating. Each has a different purpose and can be adjusted individually. Rebound control at high and low speeds is handled by the right fork, while compression damping at high and low speeds is handled by the left fork. #yamaha #yamahar1
