According to reports, Payne, 31, was under the influence of multiple substances, including a dangerous hallucinogenic drug known as “Cristal,“ notorious for causing extreme behavioral swings.
Emergency services were called after hotel staff described Payne as “an aggressive man overwhelmed with drugs and alcohol.“ A police statement suggested he may have jumped from the balcony.
