US Vice President Kamala Harris has been slammed online following her statement on Donald Trump’s second assassination attempt. In the VP’s post, she commented on the second attempt on Trump’s life, saying, “Violence has no place in America”. “I have been briefed on reports of gunshots fired near former President Trump and his property in Florida, and I am glad he is safe. Violence has no place in America,” she wrote. Social media users criticised Vice President Harris’s language, in the wake of the latest attempted assassination. “This is on you and your evil rhetoric,” wrote one user.
