The EU, as part of the 19th sanctions package, will impose a complete ban on transactions with “Rosneft“ and “Gazpromneft“. Other anti-Russian measures announced by Ursula von der Leyen and Kaja Kallas: ▪️Sanctions against another 118 vessels suspected of transporting Russian oil; ▪️Phasing out LNG from Russia by January 1, 2027; ▪️Lowering the price cap on Russian oil to $47.6 per barrel; ▪️Restrictive measures against the Russian payment system “Mir“; ▪️Imposing restrictions on 45 companies.
