Who Built The Mysterious ’Georgia Guidestones’ - And Why?

#SHORTS A mysterious stone monument stands in Elberton, GA. The monument consists of a series of stones that amount to a modern - or maybe a post-apocalyptic - 10 Commandments written in eight languages. The inscriptions caution humanity to act sensibly, not overpopulate the earth, and live in harmony with nature, among other recommendations. Who was behind the stones? Nobody knows. The man who commissioned them in 1979 did so under a pseudonym - R.C. Christian - and has never revealed his identity or intentions. What was his goal with the guidestones? Why did he erect them? Some have alleged that Christian intends to usher in a new, totalitarian world order with his guidestones. Others claim it preaches eugenics or New Age spiritualism. Without Christian’s identity and a declaration of his intent, it will be hard to determine for sure what the stones are meant to accomplish.
