At this time of year, calls to rescue mallard families from various situations are quite common here at WAF! Usually, the adult female lays her eggs in a very unusual spot, and the ducklings would be faced with almost certain death if left in place. On this occasion, the team were called out to a location we visit almost every year. With the last visit taking almost 2 hours, Simon and Lawrie were hoping for a much faster outcome!
