Elevate Your Art with Floater Frames!

Where to buy, the differences in material, some things to look for, etc. There are a few I don’t discuss, for example, the velcro floater frames you can get at Blick’s and JoAnn Fabrics (I don’t like the sawtooth hangers and don’t trust the glue holding the velcro on), and there will definitely be other framing companies or stores that carry floater frames as well, so I’m only discussing the brands and stores I am familiar with. Be super careful in your selection to ensure you have the correct size (if you need a frame for a 16x20 for example, then that’s the size you order) and depth! Check the rabbit depth and decide on how wide you want the shadow gap. Also, look for floater frames that have a little ledge so that it’s easier to line up your substrate to secure it.
