Series about the creative process of the album ’7 Movements’ by Johanna Rose - viola da gamba

Album available on RUBICON CLASSICS . Film created and directed by Carlos Pineda Gonzalez. In the summer of 2021, I started working with Carlos Pineda on the video promotion of my third album, 7 MOVEMENTS (Rubicon, 2022), which was released on November 25th, 2022. Our idea was to document my creative process at different moments, from the conception itself of the album - which includes the suites 5 and 6 for cello by J.S. Bach and pieces by the two masters Saint-Colombe, father and son- to the preparation of the concert which will present the album to the public for the first time. After a year of work, the result are seven short films that we are sharing with you here on YouTube. This audiovisual project has the form of a diary where I reflect on different aspects of the road i have been traveling on. The whole series was published in November 2022, movement per movement, as an indroduction to the album ’7 Movements’. For more info please visit my webpage
