Nirvana live at Maxwells Hoboken 1989. I was at this gig

On their first American tour in 1989 Nirvana were a 4 piece band of unknowns supporting Tad. John Robb stayed with the band for three days in a tiny flat in Manhattan and was at the Maxwells gig in this video where they played to a handful of people. Full story of that weekend here
