Chinese Grandpa x The Kiffness - Chin Cheng Hanji | 鍘美案 (Live Looping Peking Opera Remix)

This grandfather (Kang Wansheng) teaches his granddaugter how to sing Chin Cheng Hanji (Peking Opera). I remixed it. Kang Wansheng is Chinese, born in Jilin, and was an opera actor at the Beijing Opera. Peking Opera is often characterised by super high singing, which this grandpa obviously has down to a tee. For me, it was quite a challenge, but one I was happy to take on. I have new found respect for Mandarin after learning this song. If I made any mistakes, I do apologise - please don’t take away my social credit, it’s my first time speaking Madarin. Thanks to my friend Po-Chung Chen for helping me in the process.
