Suicide - Diamonds, Fur Coat, Champagne (1980) MFEAE

MFEAE Video #04. From Suicides second, and again, self-titled album came this beauty in 1980. The ongoing discussion remains: was the first album much better than the second one? Who cares really. Both albums are a joy to listen and over again. Excellent stuff from Rev and Vega. The video used is from the brilliant, and one of my favourite movies, The Women (1939). The black and white movie with the excellent Norma Shearer and Joan Crawford features the FIRST ever full color scene (5 minutes) in a Hollywood movie. It’s the fashion show scene, as you can see ;) Luckily Warner Brothers took this classic on DVD in it, if you like classic strongly recommend you to do ’s a blast!
