MERRY CLAYTON - GIMME SHELTER

Merry performs her classic rendition of the Stones mega smash “Gimme Shelter“. Not only was she the featured female vocalist on their version she also covered the song on her album of the same name. The album has recently been reissued on CD in Japan by Video Arts/Ode Records . This was video tapped at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA. Notice the superb Waters family singing backgrounds vocals.
