Black belt breakdown of green belt beating them

Hi! I’m Samantha Faulhaber, the black belt in this video. Sydney James is a 14 year old green belt, which means I’ve been training about the same amount of time Sydney has been alive. Sydney and I made it to the finals of a purple/brown/black belt and advanced teen division at NAGA Battle at the Beach 2017, and this was our fight. She did a lot of things right and the window I had to do something about it shut down and to my knowledge and efforts at the time didn’t open again after the first thirty seconds. I’m really excited for this quiet, respectful person to grow even farther in the sport. I had a lot of fun jumping in to fight in all my matches that day, and while this wasn’t my favorite part, I had fun this whole time too. Thanks for watching!
