GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Rangers, Game 2 () | Shorthanded Penguins Fall in New York

After a thrilling triple overtime victory in Game 1, the shorthanded Penguins took the ice once again at Madison Square Garden in search of a commanding 2-0 series lead. The Rangers were able to strike first but the red-hot Jake Guentzel wasted no time answering back, tying the game at 1 for his third goal of the series. New York would jump out to a 3-1 lead in the second before Sidney Crosby found the back of the net to make it a one goal game. Pittsburgh would fight hard in the third but ultimately couldn’t get things going as the fell to the Rangers by a score of 5-2.
