2000 Mercedes Benz W163 ML320 4Matic|Walk Around Video|In Depth Review|Test Drive

When you go to look at a 20 year-old Mercedes Benz, anything is possible. It can either be in really nice shape, really bad shape, or somewhere in between. The late 90’s and early to mid 2000’s weren’t the best time for the brand, and quality control as well as some of their materials left a lot to be desired, and the vehicle that endured the brunt of this was the M-Class. We first saw the vehicle as a concept car in the early 90’s called the AAV or, All Activity Vehicle. The basic design language carried over to the production vehicle, and the Alabama-produced SUV would arrive at dealerships in 1997. We would see early pre-production vehicles in the movie “The Lost World“ starring Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcom on a rescue mission for John Hammond. Fortunately for us, we stumbled upon a nice example of a pretty well-optioned ML320 that, for the most part, is a great representation of the first cycle run of the Mercedes SUV.
