The Siege of Leningrad lasted almost for 3 years. For three years citizens of Leningrad have been dying from hunger after Nazi troops bombed the main food warehouse, surrounded the city and blocked all food supply and evacuation routes. More than 1 million people died. This short film is about the dilemma of the mother, so typical for these times, - which child should live and which should die. The film become a winner of several festivals, including of Beijing Film Academy and participated in around 30 film festivals.
