Faculty of Agriculture in collaboration with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan observed Parthenium awareness week from 16-22 Aug 2023. Students of the university participated in parthenium weed removal campaign in and around the Campus and agriculture fields. Ms. Manisha Kumari delivered a lecture on harmful and beneficial effects of Parthenium and its management in which BSc Hons. Agriculture students participated. Prof Madhulika Kaushik VC UMU, Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra, Registrar UMU, Satapathy UBA coordinator and HOD Agriculture, Dr. Abhisek Pandey NSS Coordinator, Dr. Alisha Kumari, Dr. Bireshwar Kundu, Mr. Amarnath Mahto, Ms. Juhi Kumari, MsJayita Dandapat also participated and made the events successful.
