CBS 1982-1983 Saturday morning cartoon bumpers (all 4)

These 4 network bumpers and their “We’ll Return After These Messages“ announcements appeared between CBS’s Saturday morning cartoon lineup during the Fall 1982 - Spring 1983 season. Part of their “arcade game“ theme, CBS created graphics that mimicked video games at the time, namely Space Invaders, Pac-Man and Defender. The four transitions are: 0:00 - 0:05 A “Space Invaders“ parody 0:06 - 0:12 Objects in a Pac-Man-like maze meet, and the maze explodes 0:13 - 0:18 A male and female robot standing in front of an arcade machine stare at the viewer, and their “eye“ lights blink 0:19 - 0:24 Two glider-like space ships race between laser grids, and the scene warps away These transitions ran between the following programs: ● Speed Buggy (8:00 AM/1982) ● Sylvester & Tweety, Daffy & Speedy show (8:30 AM/1982) ● The Bugs Bunny & Roadrunner Show (9:00 AM/1982) ● Gilligan’s Planet (10:30 AM/1982; 12
