BREAKING: Biden Warned Russia that West would impose “strong economic & other measures“! What?

Not again, POTUS warned Putin’s Russia that the West would impose “strong economic & other measures“ on Russia if it invades Ukraine, while Putin demanded guarantees NATO would not expand further eastward. Yet, those in the West who claim that post-USSR Russia will embrace democracy are/were delusional! Following the disintegration of the Soviet Union, in 1991, former US secretary of state James Baker spoke in the magnificent St. Catherine Hall at the Kremlin, saying that Western leaders contemplated “no extension of NATO’s jurisdiction for forces of NATO one inch to the east.” Interestingly, the now-declassified negotiation documents show that, for former Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev to agree to NATO membership for a newly unified Germany, he made it quite clear that “any extension of the zone of NATO is unacceptable.” Given this reality, why should Putin ever trust the West??
