June Christy Sings With Stan Kenton 1945

From the soundie: I’M GONNA LOVE THAT GUY 1945 June Christy was quite simply one of the best Jazz singers ever. She sang with some lesser known bands before replacing Anita O’Day in the forward looking Stan Kenton Orchestra in 1945. Later she would go on to a very successful solo career that extended into the 1960’s.
