Fallout 4 | Sakeshi Village | A Japanese Inspired Settlement

Hello! This is a small passion project I’ve been working on for a minute. I’m really happy with the visuals, but with more time and less technical hurdles, I feel I could have made this even better. I was thinking of a name, I wanted to bring the idea of Takeshi, a warrior, and Sosen, Ancestor. So a military history, war, the darkness, and a heavy focus on nature and the importance of harmony, balance and Taoism. I’ve been reading Miyamoto Musashi, Lao Tzu, and the Art of War of course. From my interest in this process and these thoughts I was gathering I delved into research about what I was making, referencing the culture in my thought processes. Being involved in the philosophy guided my decision-making.
