The 120 mile round trip journey between North Reading and Jim Thorpe continues to attract railfans and tourists alike to the Anthracite Region from all over the country, just to enjoy the sights and sounds of riding behind the loudest steam locomotive in the states. This video features both trackside scenes as well as on ride footage behind the 2102 between Port Clinton and Jim Thorpe as the train traverses the winding ex-Reading and CNJ tracks through bustling towns, a tunnel, and over the Hometown High Bridge.
