SpaceX Launch tower - Mechazillas chopsticks catch and crane arm preassembly Boca Chica Oct 13 2021
Near the Spacex launch tower at Starbase in Boca Chica, the carriage and catch/crane arms (chopsticks) are currently being pre-assembled using an assembly rack.
This catch and crane mechanism allows stacking and catching of the booster and starship.
Since the chopsticks are mainly used to stack the booster and spaceship in the beginning, there are many ways to identify and fix possible mistakes.
Mechazilla will work!
In this video you can see all currently visible, assembled and sighted parts. I hope I didn’t miss anything.
