Vietnam War era M16 Where to Find Surplus Furniture and Stuff

The U.S. Army would place an order for M16 rifles in late 1963, and designed it as the XM16E1. The Air Force adopted earlier as the M16. A few years later, the U.S. Army would adopt it as the M16A1, and other branches followed suit. In the 1980s, the US would adopt the M16A2 and earlier M16A1s would be retrofitted to the A2 standard.
