’Young Guard Reborn’

On September 13, 1943 several members of the underground organization ’Young Guard’ were posthumously awarded the title of Heroes of the Soviet Union. How great their feat is! About a hundred schoolchildren risked their lives for the sake of the Motherland during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). Teenagers of Krasnodon in every possible way interfered with the German invaders: organizing sabotage and handing out anti-fascist leaflets.
