RAY CONNIFF IN RUSSIA (TV Show Performance)

Ray Conniff also appeared on Russian television during his stay. A short interview with Vera and Ray was shown, then Ray signed several copies of the “Alone Again (Naturally)“-album, Soviet edition, and performed with the Russian Singers two songs: “Moscow Windows“ and “A Song Of Ghena, Crocodile“ (lipsync performances). Both were first broadcast on TV on March 8, 1975 in a show titled “Blue Light“. On New Year’s Eve 1976 Russian TV showed a short segment of the “Blue Light” show, including the rendition of “A Song Of Ghena, Crocodile“. December 18, 1974.
