Northrop Grumman’s CRS-21 Cygnus spacecraft, dubbed S.S. Francis R. “Dick” Scobee, was berthed to the Earth-facing port of the International Space Station’s Unity module on 6 August 2024, at 09:33 UTC (05:33 EDT). For NASA’s Commercial Resupply Services-2 (CRS-2) NG-21 mission, Cygnus nearly 3,720 kg (nearly 8,200 pounds) of supplies to the International Space Station. The NG-21 Cygnus Cargo Delivery Spacecraft is named after the former NASA astronaut Francis R. “Dick” Scobee.
