Glass bass clarinet, Hybrid duduk & Glass foonki

This video features 3 instruments, two of them are collaborations with wonderful glass artisan Arnie Fuchs: The Glass Foonki (a membrane reed glass drone instrument) and ’Bella’ (a narrow-bore glass bass clarinet). I also play the Hybrid duduk which I made with the Australian timber Acacia cambagei (Gidgee). It is chromatic and uses a reed made from irrigation polypipe). The percussion tracks are made by recording the preparation of the polypipe reed using a hammer & anvil and some sandpaper. I also use an amplified Squash racquet.
