HISTORICALLY ACCURATE CRUELLA || Dalmation Fur But Make It Medieval (Sewing the dress!)

I was so excited to create a historically accurate Cruella De Vil costume! I loved the new Cruella movie and decided to place Cruella in the 15th century. This was a time of fashion innovation and, quite importantly, furs that are also white with black spots... kind of like dalmation fur. I created a medieval gown known as a houppelande, along with accessories and a headpiece. This video is all about the sewing and creation of that costume. Final reveal and getting dressed in all the layers will be in the next video! 📍 PDF Tutorial for the Houppelande: 📍 PDF Tutorial for the Kirtle: 📍 More complete instructions for the headpiece will be on Patreon: Shoutout to McNerdy Costumes and Props for the help fabric shopping! ❤️ Become a Patron and join the community to help make these projects possible
