GNUS CELLO - Passacaglia Indaco (Official Music Video)

Passacaglia indaco is the third release of my original project for cello, which started in 2021. It is a work to which I am very attached, because it was composed in one go. It represents the idea of a very instinctive piece born on the cello and built like a passacaglia, in which the melody repeats itself and constantly meets different harmonies that support it, creating countless rhythmic joints. The cello is echoed by a pressing piano and the string orchestra. An ancient form brought back to the post-minimalist contemporary language.
