Darktide - Counterfire Plasma Gun & Combat Blade | Damnation Veteran

Checking out the Counterfire Plasma Gun combo, I mean it can work technically but it’s so weird to use, you have to play with venting, reload times, delaying shots and what not to have uptime - together with the Revolver they are probably the two worst guns for Counterfire atm. One shotting Crushers is also possible with Counterfire at close range as long as you have % Damage to Carapace but it requires ideal conditions, hence two shotting them is more common. I read the comm links later today and it’s cool that they are addressing some of the issues like venting costing hp, arms & limbs halving your dmg and shots not penetrating Bulwark’s shield. Finally the Combat Knife is cool and all, but it’s mostly suited for speed runs since the mobility is insane, so there are obviously better alternatives for Damnation although it can work. I think both Uncanny Strike and Lacerate are bis blessings for the Veteran (Exectutor & Mercy Killer as well). PS: Don’t use Deadshot
