Dr. Patrick Keating from Trinity College delivers the Kobal Foundation Lecture: “The Narrativization of Glamour in Film Noir.” In the 1940s, film noir borrowed from 1930s glamour photography to juxtapose photographs with text and define glamour in narrative terms as the culmination of a process of transformation.
