A first look at the Kvetun two-handed Swiss Sabre

A first look at the Kvetun two-handed Swiss Sabre. This was a commission by instructor Michael Thomas for a sparring ready version of the beautiful sword held in the Wallace Collection in London. This sword is an impressive beast, with hand protection that doesn’t impede technique while looking as beautiful as it is effective. The blade has significant distal taper, and a slight curve, with a sharp long edge, and clipped weak. My Masters of Defence novel can be found here: Sword specs: Weight 1920g Blade length Grip length
