The Great Pyramid of Egypt in 1909 - Rare Photographs - History in Pictures | Ancient Architects

This video is somewhat different to what I usually present on this channel in that I will be presenting pictures from inside and out of the Great Pyramid from 1909, without the usual commentary on top. They were taken by John and Morton Edgar for their 1910 publication, The Great Pyramid Passages and Chambers, and many of which I’m sure a lot of you will never have seen. I think sometimes it’s good to just look at the individual old photographs of the Great Pyramid without any explanation or interpretation, so we can see what it looked like, so we can analyse the interior, before the masses of restoration that took place since. So here are the collection of black and white photographs of the Great Pyramid in 1909, played to the amazing music of Ross Bugden. Enjoy and please comment any interesting observations below.
