Germany is hosting NATO’s biggest ever air exercise over Europe since the alliance’s founding in 1949. 25 nations will participate in Air Defender 2023 (AD23), scheduled to take place between June 12-23. Nearly 10,000 participants and 250 aircraft will respond to a simulated attack on a NATO member country.
