Fish Market. Location of events unknown. Opens w/ shot of a man pulling a rope up hand by hand; boards tied on end. Pan rt. past some sort of machinery w/ giant spools; chain around;3 workers stand holding ropes which hang down from above; and tugging on them; as if ringing bells MS barrels of fish in FG; several men and boys - teenagers - or near -stand behind. Two are holding up large flat fish. CU man (head out of frame) holding up 2 big fish. Good shot looking down hall of marketplace; w/ fish piled on tables in FG; people walking about in FG 0 Man (wearing fisherman’s raincoat & hat) drives a horse-drawn cart away from cam; through market - in back of stalls by loading docks; snow on ground.
