’Biden you’re a liar’: Pro-Palestine protesters shutdown streets in Austin, Texas

Pro-Palestine protesters set off smoke as they rallied on horseback outside the Texas State Capital on Sunday, November 12. The protest is believed to be the largest pro-Palestine rally in Texas, since Hamas launched its terror attack on Israel on October 7. Many protesters waved the Palestinian flag, and some covered themselves in a keffiyeh – a symbol of Palestinian nationalism. Some protesters accused the Biden administration of lying, as they chanted; “Biden, Biden you’re a liar. We demand a ceasefire“. Israel’s Prime Minister dismissed calls for a ceasefire in Gaza, unless Hamas releases its more than 200 Israeli hostages.
