🔘 Loudness was the first Japanese heavy metal band to be aired in Europe and the United States, even reaching the top 100 on the Billboard charts. The group used to mix Japanese and English lyrics in the same song, although they also made albums recorded only in English. Akira Takasaki is considered one of Japan’s best titarists. His first album was released in 1981 and was titled The Birthday Eve, which did not get very good results, especially due to the low popularity of the genre at that time in Japan. This album was followed by Devil Soldier, released in 1982 by Nippon Columbia, this record was released in the Netherlands by the independent label Megaton. In 1983, after recording their third album, The Law of Devil’s Land, they made their first North American tour, followed by a European tour.
