И_Йен Сомерхолдер 15/09/2025 iansomerhalder The world could use a hug about now.I post this every year but I think it’s needed right , volume up, no distractions-SHARE this, people need to see it. Sorry, I don’t have any translations right now, although I’d like to get some- This audio you hear read by my great hero Carl Sagan is an excerpt from Carl Sagan’s book Pale Blue Dot (1994) was inspired by an image taken, at Sagan’s suggestion, by Voyager 1 on Feb 14, 1990. From a distance of about 6 billion km (3.7 billion miles) Voyager 1, which had completed its primary mission and was leaving the Solar System, was commanded by NASA to turn its camera around and take one last photo of Earth across a great expanse of space, at the request of Carl Sagan. The accompanying words, written 31 yrs ago are still relevant today. I hope you feel it. You can also check out another great hero of mine @ profbriancox to hear some incredibly humbling and humanizing messages about our world and how lucky we are to share life with one another…
