CIA and MI6 bosses warn of Russian sabotage campaign

The heads of the CIA and MI6 spy agencies have made their first joint statements together as they discussed the threats posed to the West. William Burns and Sir Richard Moore said Russia was seeking to cause chaos in Europe through sabotage, while there would be a “dramatic escalation“ in the war between Russia and Ukraine if it was confirmed that Iran was providing ballistic missiles to Moscow. The pair also discussed the crisis in the Middle East and competition with China at the Financial Times event in London.
