A smart village that responds to the environment and adapts to it.
Ganvie is a lake village in Benin, Africa, lying in Lake Nokoué. One of the problems of Ganvie Lake Village is the high water level. The best answer is “water for water“. The biomimetic structure of pufferfish and its strategy to deal with enemies is by inflation with water or air. Inspired by this feature, we built smart homes that have the typological form of the area (inspired by the sand ring of pufferfish). when the rise water and tides, filled with air and come to the surface of the water, also in conditions Stormy and wavy, filled with water and heavy and goes down. This structure works with clean energies including (Tidal energy, Photovoltaic system and Aquaponic system).
