The Criterion Revellers In “Just Hummin’ Along“ (1932)

Full title reads: “Now for harmonious melody from The Criterion Revellers in “Just Hummin’ Along“. Three men in evening dress stand beside a piano and sing a jolly song - it seems to be about the pleasures of strolling in the countryside. The pianist also wears evening dress. As the men sing, various footage of idyllic countryside is shown. A pretty girl walks through woodland, a man walks through hilly countryside, countryside scenes, sheep run through the fields, a calm lake, etc. “Love is a wonderful thing, makes you feel you must sing“ is one of the refrains. The pianist has a surprisingly deep voice. Very nice compact little song! Note: mute print exists. Not sure if safety or nitrate, in nitrate can. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
