Exit polls predict AfD to win German federal elections in Thuringia

Exit polls predict the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party is on course to win federal elections in the eastern Thuringia region. It’ll be the first time the party has achieved such a result. It campaigned strongly for an end to weapons supplies to Ukraine.
