Ida Ränzlöv, mezzo soprano Magnus Svensson, piano Recipient of the 2023 Birgit Nilsson Stipend, Swedish Mezzo Soprano Ida Ränzlöv is currently a member of the ensemble at Staatsoper Stuttgart. In their 23/24 season she performes the roles of Hänsel Hänsel & Gretel, Nancy T’ang Nixon in China, Zweite Magd Elektra, Wellgunde Das Rheingold and Jenny The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny. Her precious roles in Stuttgart have included Rosina / Il barbiere di Siviglia, Orlofsky / Die Fledermaus, Varvara / Katy’a Kabanova, Cherubino / Le nozze di Figaro, Dryade / Ariadne auf Naxos, Lola / Cavalleria Rusticana, Second Norn / Götterdämmerung and Meg Page / Falstaff and Page / Salome.
